COMBAT MASTERY | Passive Buff

Countless hours of training has brought you clear vision on what must be done.  No longer shackled by your emotions, you are a decisive and honed fighter. You gain 5 focus at the start of each round.  No longer dealing in Rage as a resource.

SURE-FOOTED | Passive Buff

Grants the Blademaster a +2 to all skill checks pertaining to mobility (exposed, cripple)

 

REQUIREMENTS: 1 DEX 1 WIS

XP COST: 40

CRIPPLING THRUST | Standard Action / Attack Cost: 4 Focus 

A precise and debilitating attack.  Target must succeed a Con saving throw vs DC 5+Dex or be crippled for 4 rounds. Crippled opponents receive a -4 to all Escape rolls.. Warriors may only call upon this ability once every 3 turns of combat.

 

REQUIREMENTS: 1 DEX 1 STR

XP COST: 50

CHANNEL FURY | Utility: Buff / Fast Action Cost: 5 Focus 

Warriors are empowered by rage, but they are also captive to it. As a blademaster, you have learned to harness such energy, channeling it into surer and swifter blows. When activated, you gain a temporary buff to your attack rating. For the next two turns, a value equal to your HALF of your total damage modifier is applied to your attack rating. 

Blademasters may call upon this ability once every 4 turns of combat.

 

REQUIREMENTS: 2 DEX 1 CON

XP COST: 55

TREACHEROUS FEINT Standard Action / Attack | Cost 5 focus |

The Blademaster feints an attack causing their foe to doubt their opponents strength and let their guard down. This attack deals half damage dice and no damage mod guaranteeing their next successful attack is a crit.

Blademasters may only call upon this ability once every 4 turns of combat.

 

REQUIREMENTS: 2 INT 1 DEX

XP COST: 70

BLEEDING COUNTERSTRIKE Reactionary / Attack | Cost: 5 focus |

Parry an incoming physical attack, or interrupt an upcoming spell or fast action. With this attack, you punish your foe with a bleed of 2 (Str+Dex) for 2 turns.

 

Warriors may only call upon this ability once every 4 turns of combat.

 

REQUIREMENTS: 2 DEX  1 STR 1 WIS

XP COST: 75

HAIL OF FURIOUS STRIKES | Standard Action / Attack | Cost: 7 Focus (3 repeating)

The Blademaster unleashes a flurry of 3 quick cuts.  Each dealing half total damage dice and full damage mod.  Each point in Dexterity past 3 allows for an additional cut at a cost of 3 Focus.

 

Warriors may only call upon this ability once every 5 turns of combat.

REQUIREMENTS: 3 DEX 1 INT

XP COST: 80

ANTICIPATION | Reactionary / Attack | Cost: 8 Focus 

The Blademaster sees combat as a game of wits, knowing where their opponent moves before their opponent does.  Allowing them an attack of opportunity the next time they are attacked.

 

Warriors may only call upon this ability once every 6 turns of combat.

 

REQUIREMENTS: 3 DEX 2 INTEL

XP COST: 90

MOCKING SNEER | Fast Action / Debuff | Cost: 5 Focus | 

Taunt your opponent, playing with their mind and causing them to lose focus.  They must make a Wis saving throw vs a DC of 5+Wis. Failure will result in a loss of their Damage Mod for 2 rounds.

 

Warriors may only call upon this ability once every 4 turns of combat.

 

REQUIREMENTS: 3 WIS 2 INT

XP COST: 95

STORM OF BLADES | Passive Buff | 

Quickness and accuracy are the weapons of a Blademaster.  Once every 3 rounds of combat, they may make 1 extra basic attack against an enemy. Blademasters may only call upon this ability once every 3 turns of combat.

This ability cannot be used on the same turn as Action Surge.

 

 

REQUIREMENTS: 3 DEX 3 INT

XP COST: 100
