UNNATURAL INSIGHT 
 

| Passive Buff | 

Your very essence has senses beyond other mortals.  The paladin’s ability to sense motives and derive clues from other’s actions has increased.  Gain a +2 bonus to Insight checks.

GUIDING HANDS 
 

| Fast Action / Buff | 3 Endurance​ |

Calling to the great beyond, you imbue your weapon with the powers of your patron deities. For 2 rounds, whenever you roll to hit with a physical attack or attack ability, you deal 1d4+(Str) magic damage to the attack’s target. 

 

(Paladins may only call upon this ability once every 5 turns of combat.)

REQUIREMENTS: 1 STR

HAND OF RECKONING 
 

| Standard Action / CC | 4 Endurance |

You reach out to your enemy, casting forth holy energies harnessed into destructive force. As a standard action, you may discard your attack roll, doing magic damage. When rolling for damage, reduce damage dice by half while keeping your damage modifier. 

 

Additionally, the target must make a Wis saving throw vs 3+ your total wisdom score or be dazed for one round of combat.

 

(Paladins may only call upon this ability once every 4 turns of combat.)

REQUIREMENTS: 1 WIS 1 INT

SCOURGE STRIKE  

| Standard Action / Attack | 3 Endurance | 

As a holy warrior, your body is a vessel of higher power. You’ve come to understand that the beings you worship require a toll in exchange for such power. If your next attack is successful, it deals normal damage. In exchange, you will receive half that damage as payment. 

 

The paladin may then make 1 additional standard attack on a target of their choice. Critical bonuses on attack rolls do not apply when using this ability. 

 

If any damage would down you during this ability, it now downs you only after all attacks from this ability are resolved.

Ex, Paladin rolls 24, deals 24 damage to the enemy, and receives 12.

CONVICTION

| Ability:  Standard Action / Debuff | 4 Endurance | 

Your word is the word of your gods, and there are few that exist that do not fear a divine order once issued.  Target must make a WIS save vs 5+WIS or be physically unable to speak a lie for 2 minutes. 

If the save is passed, the target is aware that magic is at play. 

Enemies under the effect of conviction suffer a -2 AC for 2 rounds.

 

(Paladins may only call upon this ability once every 5 turns of combat.)

REQUIREMENTS: 2 WIS

RIGHTEOUS VIGOR 

| Standard Action / Attack | 7 Endurance | 

Your connection with the divine is not without cost, and there are times when sole sacrifice will not suffice.  Your next attack claims the vitality of your target. You perform a basic attack, healing for 100% of the damage inflicted.

In the event of a failed attack, the cool down penalty will still apply.

 

(Paladins may only call upon this ability once every 6 turns of combat.)

 

REQUIREMENTS: 2 WIS 2 CON

CASTIGATION

 

| Standard Action / Debuff | 4 Endurance | 

You channel the blessing of your god, attempting to claim the vitality of your target for a brief time. Your target must make a constitution saving throw equal to or greater than 3+ your total WIS score.

On a failed save, your target’s damage dice sides are reduced by half for 2 rounds. 

 

(Paladins may only call upon this ability once every 5 turns of combat.)

 

REQUIREMENTS: 2 STR 2 INTEL

SHARED ZEAL 

 

| Standard Action / Utility | 1 Endurance |

 

You bind your being with that of another.  Target opponent must make a Con saving throw of 5+Wis or be bound.  If you take damage, they take that same damage and vice versa.  When you receive healing, they too are invigorated. This effect lasts 3 rounds.

(The DC can be waived if the participant is willing.)

(This does not include effects such as reduced damage, AC, or CC) 

(Paladins may only call upon this ability once every 6 turns of combat.)

 

REQUIREMENTS: 3 STR

XP COST: 70

FAITH'S REWARD

 

|  Passive / Buff | 

Your devotion to your deity is undeniable.  Your bond with the divine rewarded.  Whenever a Paladin comes under the effect of a healing ability, they receive an additional 1d4+(2)Wis heal from their deity.

(This effect cannot amplify life gain through Shared Zeal)

REQUIREMENTS: 3 STR 3 WIS

XP COST: 80

 

BURST OF ENERGY 

 

|  Standard Action / Attack / CC  | 8 Endurance |

Calling forth energies not of this world, bursting and hitting up to 3 target enemies.  They must make a Dex saving throw vs 4+Wis or be knocked down for 2 rounds.

(Paladins may only call upon this ability once every 6 turns of combat.)

 

REQUIREMENTS: 3 STR

XP COST: 90

CHANNEL VITALITY 

 

| Standard Action / Heal | 5 Endurance | 

Your own vitality is a resource used to whatever end you desire.  That resource is one that may be shared with others. The Paladin may harness their own life force and push it into another. Choose any number of allied targets. Those targets gain life equal to the amount of life the Paladin sacrifices.

IE: Paladin sacrifices 20 life and chooses an allied Ranger to heal 11 and an allied Warrior to heal for 9.

 

(Paladins may only call upon this ability once every 4 turns of combat.)

 

REQUIREMENTS: 2 CON 2 WIS 

XP COST: 65

LESSER BANISH 

 

| Standard Action / Debuff | 5 Endurance | 

Channel the beyond to cast fear and doubt into your enemies for 3 rounds. 

         Small creatures immediately flee and do not return to the area for 3 days.

         

         Medium creatures (And players) suffer a loss of d3+1 per point in Int of caster.

         

         Large creatures suffer a loss of d9+3 per point in Int of caster

 

(Paladins may only call upon this ability once every 6 turns of combat.)

 

REQUIREMENTS: 3 STR

XP COST: 75

FERVOR 

 

| Standard Action / Attack | 7 Endurance (3 repeating) | 

You can push yourself beyond your normal limits.  Striking at your foe 3 times for  1d8 + your character’s damage mod. 

 

For each point in Dex beyond 2, you may strike an additional time for 3 more Endurance.

(Paladins may only call upon this ability once every 6 turns of combat.)

REQUIREMENTS: 3 DEX

XP COST: 85

PENANCE: RETRIBUTION 

 

| Standard Action / Debuff | 7 Endurance | 

For the next 3 rounds of combat, when a target deals physical damage, they in turn suffer 1d5+2(Wis) damage in return.

(Paladins may only call upon this ability once per combat.)

 

REQUIREMENTS: 3 WIS 3 INT

XP COST: 95

FROM BEYOND 

 

| Passive Buff | 0 Endurance | 

Your unnatural connection with the beyond has gifted you with vigor beyond that of other mortals.  All cooldowns of Universal Paladin skills are reduced by 1 turn.

 

REQUIREMENTS: 3 WIS 3 CON
